excerpt: In the fall of 2014, when a major facilities project is finished, C-PP will consolidate its high schools and middle schools. Class of 2014 will be the last to graduate as Trojans or Vikings. CFA and Northside Blodgett, are planning some special events and activities this school year to commemorate the occasion.
CFA has been sold and will be renovated into upscale apartments, pending approval of district residents in a Sept. 17 referendum. Northside is also expected to be sold for redevelopment.

Is end to East-West rivalry near?

Currently, East and West field separate programs in baseball, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys bowling, girls bowling, football, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, softball, boys tennis, girls tennis and volleyball.
Corning athletic director Tim Decker has mixed feelings about the possibility of merging the 12 remaining sports programs that exist at East and West.
